About

Erica and Stefano are passionate educators who bring over 20 years of combined teaching experience. Erica always knew she wanted to become a teacher from a very early age, tutoring students from when she was in Year 11, right through her university years. She has taught at Carmel College, Albany Primary, Albany Junior High, and most recently at Pinehurst School. Bringing a wealth of experience and having taught a wide range of subjects from Year 1 to Year 13 Scholarship level, she holds a special interest in structured literacy, linguistics and foreign language acquisition.

Inspire Kids believes that establishing a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy at the primary level is fundamental. However, developing the key life skills and attributes that will last a lifetime and shape a person is what we deem even more important. Empathy, self-awareness, problem-solving, critical thinking and having a growth mindset should always be at the core of every child’s education. A holistic learning programme will take your child’s interests into account and ensure engagement by incorporating meaningful and authentic learning opportunities.

As parents of two primary aged children, both Erica and Stefano are well aware of the daily struggles and challenges that parents and young students face today. Yes, as parents, we want to support our children by identifying their learning needs and potential but the bigger picture that we must remember is ...to inspire greatness!
