Our Teachers

 

Mrs Erica Cataloni - Owner of Inspire Kids

Erica has been teaching since 2011 and has taught a range of different subjects across Y0-13. She has strengths and a special interest in Literacy, Structured Literacy, and Linguistics. A lover of foreign languages, she also speaks Korean, Japanese, and Spanish. Erica is a fully registered NZ trained secondary school teacher who also has extensive primary teaching experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts in languages and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching. Erica is passionate about helping all students to develop grit and a growth mindset. 

Mrs Gerry Campbell 

Gerry brings a wealth of experience to Inspire Kids and has curriculum strengths in Literacy, Structured Literacy, ESOL, and Numeracy. She is a fully registered NZ trained primary school teacher. Gerry has a Bachelor of Arts in languages, a Graduate Diploma of Teaching and a Diploma in ESOL. She is passionate about developing children's confidence and resilience while creating a safe and supportive learning environment for her learners. 

 

Mrs Hannah Kingham 

With a wealth of experience spanning from 2015, Hannah brings her expertise as a fully qualified primary teacher to Inspire Kids. Her passion for teaching English as a second language shines through in her dedication to fostering inclusive and immersive learning experiences. Having taught a diverse range of year levels throughout her career, Hannah is adept at tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each student.

Mrs Jenny Walker

Jenny brings a decade of invaluable experience from Campbells Bay School and has a special interest in literacy instruction. Her passion for cultivating strong reading and writing skills has empowered countless students throughout her career. Jenny's commitment to supporting individual student growth and her proven track record in fostering literacy development make her a valuable asset to our team.

 

Mrs Caroline Jones

Having completed a Bachelor of Education (Hons), Caroline has been a teacher for over 20 years. She started her career in the UK and continued teaching when she emigrated with her family to New Zealand in 2003. Caroline has trained as a SPELD tutor and she has also worked in intermediate and high schools. She has a passion for supporting students who are neuro-diverse and who require a more tailored approach, especially in Literacy and Maths.
