Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in our classes, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Please read the document carefully to familiarise yourself with the outlined terms and conditions.

Disclaimer

All classes are subject to minimum enrolment numbers (50% of the advertised class size) and some may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met. Inspire Kids reserve the right to cancel any classes if minimum numbers are not met. If classes have been paid for and they get cancelled by us due to low numbers, you will receive a full refund.

Payment

Payment must be made within three weeks from the invoice date to secure your spot in our classes. Late payments will incur a 5% processing fee each week. If payment is not made after two weeks, your place will be offered to the next student on our waitlist.

Cancellations

In the unlikely circumstance that we need to cancel the class due to staff sickness, you will be notified no less than two days before the class start date. You will be able to transfer the credit and reschedule the session or receive a refund for the affected class.

Cancellations and Refunds

Please note that all classes are non-refundable, and no refunds will be issued unless there is another child on the waiting list for that particular session and a replacement enrolment can be secured. If your circumstance or reason is exceptional, please get in touch with us and we will see what we can do.

Class Size Fluctuations

If you have paid for a 1:2 teacher student ratio class and a third student joins the class during the term, you will be credited the difference for the next term's enrolment.

Cancellations for After-School/Weekend classes during term time

All class bookings during the term are paid a term in advance. For example, if you are enrolling your child in the Year 1 Literacy 1 hour slot for the Wednesday 4-5pm, you are securing their place for weekly lessons for the school term. If it is a 10-week term, you are booking your child for 10 lessons that will occur on the same day at the same time each week. The number of lessons each term may differ slightly, depending on the number of weeks in each term.

When a term ends, you must re-enrol for next term as your spot in the same class is not guaranteed until you re-enrol and make the payment to secure your spot. This is to be fair and consistent to all customers who would like to book. This also means that you are committing term by term and there is no expectation or pressure for you to re-enrol each term. Please do let us know if you intend to re-book or unenrol at the end of each term to assist us with programme planning.

Missed lessons

If you miss a class due to personal reasons (e.g. travel, sports, birthday parties etc), you will not be able to receive any credit or make up lessons.

Your child will receive 1 sickness related make up lesson per term. If your child is enrolled in 2 or more classes, they are eligible for 2 sickness related make ups per term. These make up lessons may be arranged during the term (provided that there is a similar class with spaces). Inspire Kids may arrange some make ups during the first week of the school holidays. All make ups are subject to availability and at the discretion of Inspire Kids.

Multi-subject discount

If your child is enrolled in two subjects or more for a whole term, you will receive a 5% discount of your term fees. Please note this only applies to full term enrolments only, and not partial enrolments.

Any outstanding credit from the previous term will also only apply to full-term enrolments, not partial enrolments.

Start/Finish Times

Please ensure that you follow the start and finish times of each class. We have multiple sessions offered each day and therefore cannot look after children who are not picked up on time. There is a 5-minute window in which you can drop-off and pick up your children. After 15 minutes, $30 will be charged every 30 minutes.

Health and Safety

Children flourish in a safe and secure learning environment. Inspire Kids is dedicated to ensuring that the learning environment meets all current Health and Safety standards while the children are under our care. We strive for low teacher-student ratio and are continuously assessing and mitigating potential risks.

Please help us by ensuring the following when using our services:

  • If someone else has been assigned to pick-up and/or drop-off your child, please let us know in advance.
  • Your child must be dropped off and picked up by an accompanying adult. Your child will not be able to leave the premises without an accompanying adult.
  • Your child must wear anti-slip socks (like yellow Jump socks); alternatively, they may bring indoor slippers that have anti-slip backing on them. To keep the interior of Inspire Kids clean, no outdoor shoes are to be worn inside.
  • No sharing of food/drinks is allowed during morning tea and lunch breaks.
  • Only water in bottles may be consumed.
  • If your child has medical conditions or severe allergies, it is your responsibility to let us know.
  • If your child has any cold or flu symptoms, please keep your child at home. If your child displays any symptoms during class time, parents will be contacted to arrange pick up.
  • Your child needs to follow instructions to ensure it is a safe and clean environment for all students. Constant, disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated, and this may result in exclusion from the programme.

Medical Emergencies

It is the parents’/guardians’ responsibility to inform us of any existing medical conditions or allergies of their child/ren. In the unlikely event of an accident or an emergency, first aid care will be administered, and an ambulance may also be called. All costs incurred will be the responsibility of the parent(s).
